Breyer Ebony Shines and Charlize

Mare Ebony Shines has become one of the most famous Western performance broodmares. Bred by Bob Loomis and now owned by Roseann Sternberg, she had a brief show career but her true calling has been producing champion offspring.

The National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Hall of Fame inducted Eboy Shines in 2016. Two years later, the stunning palomino became the NRHA’s first ever “One Million Dollar Dam.” Ebony Shines’ offspring have amassed $1.2 million in earnings as of 2021, and have earned titles like NRHA Open World Champion, AQHA Select Amateur World Champion, and NRHA Open Futurity Co-Champion.

Breyer commemorates Ebony Shines along with her 2021 Palomino filly Charlize. With Charlize’s incredible bloodlines, there is little doubt that big things are in store for her in the future!
