Children’s Apparel Size Chart & Fit Guide
Note: These guides are provided as a general reference. Please keep in mind each company and shirt cut can slightly deviate from the chart.
Finding Your Child’s Size:

Chest: Measure completely around the chest – over the broadest part of the chest, under the armpits, and across the shoulder blades all while keeping the tape measure parallel to the floor.
Waist: Find their natural waistline or where they will be wearing their jeans/pants and measure completely around their waist. This is their jeans/pant waist measurement in inches.
Note: Many of the youth jeans include elastic straps on the inside to help with adjustments for sizing, hence the reason for the range of inches when comparing sizes.
Finding Your Child’s Belt Size:
To choose the correct belt size we recommend choosing a belt one size larger than your child’s waist size. For example, if your child has a 22” waist then you should select a 24-inch belt. To find their waist size, follow the measurement guidelines below:
Waist: Find their natural waistline or where they will be wearing their jeans/pants and measure completely around their waist. This is their jeans/pant waist size.
Keep in mind if you’re planning on adding a large belt buckle you may need to choose a belt the same size as their waist, as many buckles add an additional 2 inches to the belt length.
